I am a girl and I asked myself for a M, I think they don't give much size, I expected them to be wider, since I didn't want them tight, but I still love them. Girls make them very short. This is ideal with the mesh underneath for the cold and pockets. The quality of the fabrics is good, I use them daily and wash them frequently and they are impeccable. If you are a boy and you don't want it to be too tight, I would take one or two more sizes at least.
